Weather forecasts are very important for sailors: a sunny day and a 10-15 mph wind and we are happy but at Whitemere the wind can be tricky and while summer Highs are associated with sunny days they often come with little wind.
In the longer term the Climate Change models predict bigger Highs (no wind) and more intense Lows (too much wind) so we may have to get used to sailing at the two extremes!
